Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services in India is seeking a senior data engineer with deep Snowflake expertise to design and optimize data warehouses and lakehouses. You will implement Dynamic Tables, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and BI developers to deliver high-quality data solutions.

• Strong expertise in Snowflake Dynamic Tables.
• Excellent understanding of Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
• Strong understanding of Oracle SCM and Manufacturing data models, including Safety Stock planning, Inventory Analytics, and BOM with multi-level BOM structures and component hierarchies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, BI developers, and application teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Strong experience in Snowflake Performance Optimization, including query tuning, clustering, micro-partition pruning, warehouse optimization, caching, and cost optimization.

Strong expertise in Snowflake Dynamic Tables.

Excellent understanding of Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

Strong understanding of Oracle Supply Chain (SCM) and Manufacturing data models, including Safety Stock planning, Inventory Analytics, and Bill of Materials (BOM) with multi-level BOM structures and component hierarchies.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, BI developers, and application teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Oracle

Strong experience in Snowflake Performance Optimization, including query tuning, clustering, micro-partition pruning, warehouse optimization, caching, and cost optimization

Advanced SQL programming and complex query development

Hands-on experience with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Change Data Capture (CDC)

Experience with Snowpipe for automated data ingestion

Strong experience in ETL/ELT design and implementation

Expertise in query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

Experience implementing Snowflake Security, including Users, Roles, RBAC, Grants, and Access Control

Knowledge of warehouse sizing, workload management, concurrency handling, and cost optimization

Experience orchestrating Tasks, Streams, and Dynamic Tables for end-to-end data pipelines

Experience working on enterprise-scale Data Warehouse and Lakehouse implementations

Strong understanding of Git for source code management, branching, merging, and version control

Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation is an added advantage
