Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Chennai invites an experienced Lead/Senior Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and TypeScript.

You will drive IaC, implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, and develop serverless solutions with Lambda across multiple environments. The role requires 5–13 years of hands-on AWS CDK experience, strong TypeScript skills, and thorough knowledge of AWS networking, security, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5–13 years of professional development experience.
• Hands-on AWS CDK experience and TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including Lambda and CloudFormation.
• IaC and CI/CD pipeline implementation experience.
• Git proficiency and understanding of version control best practices.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code across multiple environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Develop serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda and related services.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, load balancers, IAM roles and policies.
• Monitor environments with CloudWatch and establish logging practices.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues and automate recurring tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership.
