Weekday is seeking an experienced Lead SAP TMS Analyst in Hyderabad, India. The role demands deep expertise in SAP Transportation Management (TMS) within S/4HANA logistics, end-to-end transport operations, and strong leadership across projects and production support.

The candidate will configure TMS, support integrations with EWM, MM, SD, Finance, EDI, BN4L, and GTS, and drive functional specifications, testing, and issue resolution. A bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/IT is preferred.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TMS).
• Experience across TMS functional design, configuration, implementation and production support.
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound transportation processes, planning, optimisation, execution, freight cost calculation and settlement.

We are looking for an experienced Lead SAP TMS Analyst with strong functional, solution design, implementation, and support expertise across SAP Transportation Management (TMS) and S/4HANA logistics processes.

The role requires deep knowledge of inbound and outbound transportation operations, TMS configuration, transportation planning and execution, freight cost management, and integration with SAP and third-party logistics systems. The ideal candidate will provide functional leadership across projects and production support while translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide functional leadership, solution design, and ongoing support for SAP Transportation Management (TMS).
• Design and support inbound and outbound transportation processes, including planning, optimisation, execution, freight cost calculation, and settlement.
• Configure and support SAP TMS solutions aligned with end-to-end transportation and logistics business processes.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solution requirements.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications, solution designs, process flows, and process-mapping documentation.
• Support SAP TMS implementation projects, enhancements, and project-specific requirements.
• Work closely with technical teams to clarify functional requirements and support solution development.
• Provide test data and actively participate in integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Support integrations with SAP EWM, MM, SD, Finance, EDI, BN4L, and GTS.
• Work with vendor EDI interfaces and third-party logistics providers to ensure reliable transportation-system integration.
• Support warehouse receiving processes and integration between transportation and warehouse operations.
• Work with BOPF, SPROXY, and relevant SAP integration technologies.
• Support and troubleshoot transportation message and integration errors, including SMQ2 issues.
• Analyse document-flow inconsistencies and resolve functional issues across integrated SAP processes.
• Support RF handheld devices, mobile scanners, and related warehouse technology.
• Coordinate the setup and integration of Zebra printers and mobile printing solutions with SAP environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve TMS, warehouse-device, printer, and integration-related production issues.
• Support and manage SAP Fiori tiles based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, logistics partners, and other SAP functional teams to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Participate in solution reviews, design discussions, technical walkthroughs, and process improvements.
• Provide production support and ensure timely resolution of critical transportation and logistics issues.
• Maintain functional documentation, solution specifications, testing artefacts, and support records.
• Manage multiple project and support priorities while maintaining delivery quality and timelines.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• 9+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TMS).
• Extensive hands-on experience across SAP TMS functional design, configuration, implementation, and production support.
• Proven experience supporting inbound and outbound transportation processes, including planning, optimisation, execution, freight calculation, and settlement.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end transportation and logistics business processes.
• Experience with SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L), Global Trade Services (GTS), BOPF, and SPROXY.
• Strong integration experience with SAP EWM, MM, SD, and Finance.
• Experience with EDI, vendor integrations, 3PL systems, and warehouse-receiving processes.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting SMQ2 errors, document-flow issues, integration failures, and transactional inconsistencies.
• Experience working with RF handheld devices, mobile scanners, Zebra printers, and mobile printing solutions.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, process mapping, and functional specification development.
• Proven ability to support technical teams with functional clarification, test data, integration testing, and UAT.
• Minimum three full lifecycle SAP TMS implementation projects is highly desirable.
• Strong production-support experience with the ability to analyse and resolve complex SAP TMS issues.
• Good understanding of SAP Fiori and experience supporting business-specific Fiori tiles.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, support activities, and competing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
