Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Lead Research Analyst to drive BI, reporting, and data visualization initiatives. You will leverage Power BI to build dashboards, model data, and enable informed decision-making across finance and operations.

Join a fast-moving analytics team and partner with Segment Data and Finance to optimize platform costs. Strong SQL and analytics background preferred, with experience in Azure Data Lake environments and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data & Analytics with focus on Power BI for data visualization and data modelling.
• Strong backend skills in SQL and database development to support Power BI reporting.
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive collaborator with cross-functional teams to translate needs into analytics designs.
• Expertise in creating intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports to inform decisions.
• Ideally a background in financial analysis; align platform usage and cost optimization with Finance.
• Lead weekly Azure Data Lake meetings and prepare monthly service-level cost breakdowns.

Job Description

Experience in Data & Analytics, with a strong focus on leveraging Power BI for data visualization and data modelling; Strong backend skills in SQL and database development to support Power BI reporting; Skilled in gathering and analyzing business requirements from both technical and non-technical stakeholders to design effective data solutions.; Proactive collaborator who engages with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into actionable analytics designs.; Expertise in creating intuitive and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that enhance decision-making and user experience.; (Ideally) Financial analysis background; Partner with Segment Data Teams and Finance Teams to drive alignment on platform usage, cost allocation, and optimization priorities.; Respond to user inquiries related to optimization initiatives, cost insights, and platform best practices.Host weekly Azure Data Lake meetings, specifically providing updates on platform cost reports and ongoing optimization projects; prepare monthly service-level cost breakdown analysis. Drive global data team communications to facilitate collaboration with segment data team regarding optimization opportunities.
