Job summary

Essar Group is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance professional to drive QA across production, packaging and handling, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and internal SOPs.

The role includes mentoring QA staff, preparing for HACCP, FSSAI and ISO audits, and driving CAPA-based improvements across the supply chain. Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead internal and external audits (HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, and other regulatory audits).
• Approve raw material quality and oversee sensory, physical, and quality inspections of finished products.
• Drive resolution of quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Document QA activities including reports, logs, checklists, and compliance records.
• Prepare and present periodic quality dashboards and reports to management.
• Identify and implement quality improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen food safety systems.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics to ensure end-to-end quality control across the supply chain.
