Why This Role Is Important

You will be joining an innovative application development team within SimCorp's Product Division. We provide a cloud native SaaS product built on Azure, using modern development principles, technologies and practices. The product, Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) has been operational for over 3 years, and we are now modernizing its architecture and tech stack to support a much larger audience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with three agile development teams (5–7 members each) to understand, question and shape customer requirements.
• Design, implement and maintain automated tests for chosen solutions, using .NET, Data Build Tool (dbt), Angular and Microsoft Azure.
• Conduct manual testing where required, support testing activities and provide feedback to the teams.
• Ensure maintainability, observability, high system performance, scalability, continuous integration and deployment.
• Improve product and related processes within our cloud‑based environment.
• Address issues such as streamlining build and deployment durations and enhancing collaboration and test automation.

Key Areas of Focus

• Test automation for the data side of DEP (dbt)
• Automate load and data ingestion from multiple sources
• Automation of testing in general
• Contribute to test strategies
• Enhancement in test management and processes (planning, structuring, tracking, coordinating releases, assessing, etc.)
• Conducting manual tests (reducing manual effort over time)
