Veolia Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Proposal Manager to plan and form bid engineering deliverables for water and wastewater projects. You will review tender specs, develop process diagrams, and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

The role requires strong leadership, 10+ years in proposals and English fluency, with capability to travel regionally and internationally. CAD/Office tools experience is valued, and standard contract work is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Proposal/Tender Engineering, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Experience handling complex multi-disciplinary tenders.
• Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes such as UF, RO, Clarification, etc.
• Exposure to regional/international water projects.

Responsabilités

• Plan Bid Engineering deliverables & costing for water & wastewater projects.
• Review tender specs, design standards, proposal playbooks, EHS, export controls and contracts.
• Develop process descriptions, PFDs, HFDs, PIDs, layouts, load lists, instrument lists, civil inputs.
• Interfacing with customer’s technical representatives; ensure compliance with standards.
• Knowledge of design tools and international codes (ASME, DIN, EN, IS, BS, AS).
• Assist proposal engineers / sales team for bid deliverables.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Office tools to prepare technical documents.

Job Description

• 1. Perform as the Proposal Manager to plan and formulate Bid Engineering Deliverables &Costing for water & waste water projects
• 2. Ability to review Tender specifications, Engineering design standards, Proposal Playbook, EHS, Export Control, safety and customer contract requirements and come up with right process and product.
• 3. Able to develop Process Description, Process Calculations, PFD, HFD, PID, Layouts, load list, Instrument list, civil inputs drawings for complex water & waste water treatment projects.
• 4. Sound working knowledge on Design tools like UF/RO/Ion Exchange Projections and other tools.
• 5. Able to develop Capex, Opex, O&M, ROI calculations to optimize the Process and cost
• 6. Able to interface with customer’s technical representatives
• 7. Knowledge on Design tools, International codes and standards - ASME, DIN, EN, IS, BS, AS etc.,
• 8. Knowledge on Materials / Metallurgy on metallic and nonmetallic Pumps, valves, Equipment’s, pipes and fittings
• 9. Knowledge on Electrical, Instrumentation and control systems applicable for water and waste water Schemes and Products.
• 10. Working knowledge on ACAD / Office tools
• 11. Assist local / global Proposal Engineers / Sales team for the Bid Engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• 1. Minimum of 10 years of Proposal / Tender Engineering experience, and 14 years of engineering experience preferably in the water / waste water treatment industry
• 2. Should have experience in working on complex Tenders with multidisciplinary scope.
• 3. Should be familiar on design concepts for Water & Waste Water Treatment processes such as Clarification, filtration, UF, RO, MBR, Thermal ZLD, Ion Exchange, etc
• 4. Experience / Exposure to Regional / International projects related to water and waste water.
• 5. Demonstrated leadership style showing capabilities to accelerate change, work in a rapidly changing environment and operate independently to deliver business results.
• 6. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential.
• 7. Ability to occasionally travel regionally and internationally.
