Job summary

CIEL HR seeks a Lead – Project Control & Finance to drive financial governance across BIHS asset expansion and capital projects, ensuring Capex utilization stays within approved plans and timelines. You will serve as the financial bridge between Projects & Infrastructure and Finance.

The role requires CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) with exposure to project finance or construction cost management; responsibilities include building project financial models, budgeting integration, and preparing dashboards

Qualifications

• CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) preferred with exposure to project finance or construction cost management.
• Capex governance and project financial modelling experience.
• Experience with Oracle Project Accounting or similar ERP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Capex governance: track budgets, committed costs, actual spend, and cost to finish.
• Project financial planning: build financial models and integrate Capex plans into budgeting.
• Contractor & vendor controls: review milestones and change order financials; maintain accruals.
• Reporting & analytics: prepare project control reports and Oracle-based reporting structures.

Role Purpose

Drive financial governance across BIHS asset expansion and capital projects, monitoring Capex utilization, budgets, and variances to ensure projects are executed within approved financial plans and timelines. Serve as the financial bridge between the Projects & Infrastructure function and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Capex Governance & Monitoring

• Track approved budgets, committed costs, actual spend, and estimated cost to finish.
• Review monthly Capex utilization reports and manage financial approvals.
• Prepare quarterly Capex status dashboards.

Project Financial Planning

• Build project financial models.
• Integrate project-level Capex plans into enterprise budgeting.
• Run financial feasibility analyses.
• Prepare project close-out finance packs.

Contractor & Vendor Financial Controls

• Review payment milestones and claims.
• Validate financial implications of change orders.
• Maintain project-wise accrual schedules.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare project control reports.
• Develop Oracle-based project accounting structures and reporting hierarchies.

Qualifications & Competencies

Educational Qualification

CA/CMA/MBA (Finance); exposure to project finance or construction cost management preferred.
