Job summary

Fortune Personnel Services seeks a Turbine Lead Project Engineer to lead the mechanical scope of nuclear steam turbine projects. You will coordinate a project team within the design office and drive engineering activities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong mechanical design and calculation skills, experience managing complex interfaces with clients, suppliers, and erection teams, and a proven track record of delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years project management experience in engineering design.
• Experience with nuclear safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineers and technicians across mechanical design, thermodynamics, and calculations.
• Lead engineering activities ensuring quality, on-time delivery, and budget compliance.
• Monitor and report engineering KPIs (schedule, budget, post-design freeze changes).
• Prepare, review, and validate technical deliverables (reports, calculation notes, drawings).
• Lead and facilitate design reviews.
• Manage technical interfaces with internal disciplines, clients, suppliers and erection/site teams.
• Support manufacturing and site activities (clarifications, deviations, non-conformances).
• Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned (feedback).
• Ensure nuclear safety requirements are identified and properly monitored.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and lifecycle considerations.
• Plan and secure ITNS gate reviews.
• Apply EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

Job description

As a Turbine Lead Project Engineer, you will lead the mechanical scope of one or several nuclear steam turbine projects.

You will be part of a project team and coordinate engineering activities within the design office, in the context of increasing project complexity and fast-paced changes.

You will play a central role in delivering high-performance mechanical engineering solutions on world-class equipment.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

Education

• B.E/ Masters degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering

Experience

• Overall 10+ yrs of Project management Experience
• Minimum 5 years in engineering design

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and non-destructive testing
• Ability to manage complex technical interfaces
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
