Job Description:
Senior Manager – Product Content Marketing

Company: Tata Tele Business Services

Function: Brand & Content Marketing

Reporting To: Head, Brand & Content Marketing

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 8–12 years, with substantial experience in B2B technology product content marketing

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative, outcome-driven Product Content Marketing professional who can turn complex technology products into compelling customer stories and high-performing marketing content.

The role requires exceptional writing and storytelling skills, deep product understanding and proven experience managing product launches from content strategy through execution.

You will own product narratives, launch content, creative development, sales enablement assets and the complete content lifecycle. You will work closely with Product, Brand, Industry Marketing, SEO, Campaigns and Sales teams to ensure every major content initiative has a clear business purpose and measurable outcome.

We are looking for a hands-on creator and product launch specialist, not a generalist content manager or campaign coordinator.

Key Responsibilities & Measures of Success
1. Create Compelling Product Stories
  • Translate technical features into clear, customer-first narratives built around real business needs and outcomes.
  • Develop product positioning narratives, value propositions, messaging frameworks, creative concepts and differentiated product stories.
  • Write strong headlines, campaign copy, product descriptions, scripts and customer-facing communication.
  • Simplify complex B2B technology offerings without compromising accuracy.
  • Bring fresh creative thinking to how products are presented across formats and channels.

Measures: Content quality, messaging effectiveness, stakeholder adoption, engagement and creative performance.

2. Own Product Launch Content End to End
  • Lead content planning and execution across pre-launch, launch and post-launch phases.
  • Develop launch narratives, messaging, creative routes, content plans and channel-specific assets.
  • Build complete launch content kits for digital campaigns, website, social media, email, WhatsApp, video and sales teams.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, launch readiness and timely delivery.
  • Review launch performance and optimise content to improve results.

Measures: On-time launch delivery, launch asset readiness, content adoption, campaign engagement and contribution to qualified enquiries.

3. Deliver Exceptional Product Content
  • Personally create and guide high-impact content, including product pages, brochures, presentations, case studies, battlecards, conversation guides, explainer videos, campaign assets and sales collateral.
  • Develop content for different customer segments, industries, buyer personas and stages of the buying journey.
  • Turn one strong product narrative into multiple relevant formats without making the content repetitive or generic.
  • Work with designers, video teams, writers and agencies to ensure creative quality across formats.
  • Maintain a high standard of originality, readability, brand consistency and accuracy.

Measures: Asset effectiveness, content engagement, quality scores, turnaround time and conversion contribution.

4. Manage the Complete Product Content Lifecycle
  • Own the content process from brief, research and creation to product validation, approvals, publishing, measurement, refresh and retirement.
  • Maintain an organised, current and accessible repository of product marketing assets.
  • Ensure that product enhancements, positioning changes and updated information are reflected across relevant content.
  • Build practical content workflows, templates, review processes and version controls.
  • Identify content gaps, outdated assets and opportunities to improve or repurpose existing content.

Measures: Content freshness, repository completeness, on-time delivery, asset utilisation, reduced rework and approval efficiency.

5. Build Content That Helps Sales Succeed
  • Work with Sales and Product teams to understand customer objections, competitive challenges and common buying questions.
  • Create persuasive sales presentations, product comparisons, use‑case stories, battlecards and conversation guides.
  • Ensure content is relevant, easy to use and designed to improve customer conversations.
  • Gather feedback from Sales and Channel Partners to continuously improve content effectiveness.

Measures: Sales adoption, content utilisation, stakeholder feedback and contribution to customer engagement and lead progression.

6. Connect Content Creation to Business Outcomes
  • Define the audience, objective, customer action and expected outcome for every major content initiative.
  • Work with Marketing, SEO and analytics teams to understand how content performs across channels.
  • Track content engagement, qualified traffic, enquiries, conversion and sales usage wherever measurable.
  • Identify which assets and messaging approaches are working and recommend improvements.
  • Prioritise content that delivers greater customer relevance and measurable business value.

Measures: Content engagement, qualified enquiries, conversion improvement, sales adoption and content-assisted business outcomes.

7. Improve Content Quality, Speed and Scale
  • Use AI and modern creative tools to improve research, ideation, drafting, video production and content adaptation.
  • Develop scalable content workflows while maintaining accuracy and editorial quality.
  • Manage content schedules, creative partners and stakeholder approvals.
  • Guide internal content specialists and external agencies to achieve high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Continuously explore new storytelling formats and ways to improve production efficiency.

Measures: Production turnaround, productivity improvement, cost efficiency, delivery against plan and content quality.

What You Bring
  • Strong Product Content Experience: 8–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in B2B technology, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, telecom or enterprise solutions content.
  • Exceptional Creative and Writing Skills: Proven ability to personally write compelling product narratives, campaign concepts, website copy, video scripts and sales content.
  • Product Launch Expertise: Hands‑on ownership of multiple product launches, including messaging, creative development, content production and post‑launch optimisation.
  • Content Lifecycle Knowledge: Experience managing content from creation through validation, publishing, measurement, refresh and retirement.
  • Business Orientation: Ability to connect content to customer engagement, qualified leads, conversion and sales effectiveness.
  • Execution and Stakeholder Management: Experience managing multiple deliverables, collaborating across functions and working with creative teams and agencies.
  • AI Capability: Practical experience using generative AI and content production tools to improve creative workflows, quality and efficiency. Video creation skills with AI/Other tools will be preferred.
What Success Looks Like
  • Product launches are supported by excellent creative work, clear messaging and timely delivery.
  • Complex technology products are explained in simple, compelling and differentiated ways.
  • Product content drives stronger customer engagement, qualified enquiries and effective sales conversations.
  • Content remains accurate, current, accessible and consistently used across marketing and sales channels.
  • Creative quality improves while turnaround time and production effort reduce.
  • Every major content programme has a measurable objective and demonstrable outcome.
Mandatory Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must demonstrate:

  1. Two or more product launches they personally led from a content perspective, including their original work and measurable results.
  2. Original writing and creative work, such as product campaigns, website copy, video scripts, product narratives or sales content.
  3. Evidence of content performance, including engagement, enquiries, adoption, conversion or sales effectiveness.
