Job summary

Adani Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a senior professional to lead non-aero capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover at major airport infrastructures.

You will establish execution plans, monitor budgets and risks, and coordinate among consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery with safety and compliance. Master’s degree preferred; 15–18 years’ experience in live infrastructure environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master's degree in Project Management, Infrastructure Management, MBA, or equivalent preferred.
• 15–18 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery.
• Minimum 5 years managing projects in operational airports, metro systems, transportation hubs, healthcare facilities, data centres, or other live environments.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple stakeholders during project execution.
• Senior level experience required.

Lead - Non Aero Projects Project Planning & Delivery

Lead execution of all non-aero capital projects from concept development through commissioning and operational handover.

Establish integrated project execution plans, delivery strategies, and milestone schedules.

Monitor project progress, risks, budget, and resource utilization.

Drive timely completion of projects while maintaining quality, safety, and commercial objectives.

Ensure effective coordination among consultants, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Design & Technical Governance

Oversee design development activities for commercial and non-aero assets.

Ensure designs meet business, operational, sustainability, and customer experience requirements.

Facilitate value engineering and optimization initiatives to enhance project returns.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, statutory requirements, and airport regulations.

Commercial & Financial Management

Develop project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.

Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within approved budgets.

Evaluate commercial implications of design and execution decisions.

Support procurement strategies, tender evaluations, contract award, and vendor selection processes.

Monitor financial performance and return on investment of non-aero projects.

Stakeholder Management

Engage with internal stakeholders including Commercial, Retail, Finance, Operations, Security, Sustainability, Legal, and Corporate Development teams.

Coordinate with regulatory authorities, government agencies, utility providers, consultants, and developers.

Build effective relationships with concessionaires, tenants, business partners, and external investors.

Facilitate timely decision-making through structured governance and reporting mechanisms.

Risk Management & Governance

Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures.

Identify critical project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Monitor project compliance with approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Ensure timely escalation and resolution of project bottlenecks.

Sustainability & Innovation

Promote sustainable infrastructure development practices.

Integrate energy efficiency, environmental compliance, and green building principles into project delivery.

Support achievement of airport sustainability objectives and ESG commitments.

Operational Readiness & Handover

Ensure smooth transition from project completion to operational use.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, statutory clearances, and stakeholder approvals.

Establish asset handover processes and operational readiness plans.

Support post-occupancy evaluation and performance monitoring.

Asset Enhancement & Modernization

Drive terminal upgrades, passenger experience improvements, utility upgrades, and operational efficiency projects.

Support implementation of smart airport technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

Promote innovation and best practices in airport infrastructure development.

Ensure alignment with airport expansion and capacity enhancement programs.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Master's Degree in Project Management, Infrastructure Management, MBA, or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 15 to 18 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects in operational airports, metro systems, transportation hubs, healthcare facilities, data centres, or other live operational environments.
