Job summary

Bay6.ai is seeking a Lead/Senior Node Developer in Hyderabad to design and build enterprise-grade backend services, scalable APIs, and AI-enabled platforms. You will mentor junior engineers and own critical backend components from design through delivery.

You’ll work in a mature tech environment with rapid iteration, collaborating with AI engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-impact customer-facing systems for insurance, banking, e-commerce, and more.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js and MySQL in backend services.
• Proficiency designing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS.
• Experience with CI/CD and Docker aboard production systems.
• Kubernetes and Python knowledge is a plus.
• Experience integrating AI/ML or chatbot solutions into production systems.

You’ll be contributing to full-fledged product development as well as bespoke implementations—helping clients in insurance, banking, e-commerce etc. innovate around customer engagement, risk assessment, self-service, support scaling, and insight generation.

As a Lead / Senior Node Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-grade backend services, scalable APIs, cloud-native architectures, and AI-integrated platforms. This role requires strong expertise in Node.js, MySQL, cloud infrastructure, API development, and AI service integrations, along with leadership capabilities to mentor junior engineers and drive end-to-end ownership of critical backend services.

Must Have Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js and MySQL.
• Proficiency in REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Kubernetes and Python knowledge is a plus.
