Job summary

Mastercard seeks a Lead Network Architect to design and oversee network solutions across Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Arista and Infoblox. The role requires proven delivery of complex designs in a high-availability environment and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

You will lead architecture for Platform infrastructure, align with roadmaps, and drive security and performance standards across Delivery, Engineering and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Cisco CCIE certification is preferred.
• Experience delivering complex technical designs and architectures.
• Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Flexibility to adopt new products, services, strategies and ways of working.
• Understanding of how non-functional requirements such as performance and availability are delivered by technology.

Responsibilities

• Produce High Level Designs for Platform infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain the technology roadmap for Platform / Unix Solutions in line with end of support dates.
• Work closely with cross functional teams including Delivery, Engineering and Operations.
• Ensure that new solutions conform to policies and standards and meet defined non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, availability and manageability.
• Identify, assess and communicate technical risks to the Business and Operations.
• Evaluate products for project and future usage and take responsibility for trialling new technologies.

Overview

The Systems and Platform Architecture team is looking for a Lead Solutions Architect to design and provide oversight for VocaLink solutions through all stages of the development life cycle from bid, concept through architecture, design, build, test and delivery into production.

Role

Typically, The Role Will Require The Holder To:
