Job summary

Zener Maritime Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead Naval Architect to join our Mumbai team. The role involves leading naval architecture projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and coordinating with clients, shipyards, and classification societies.

You will prepare stability booklets, loading manuals, and perform tank calculations, while guiding junior engineers and ensuring adherence to IMO, SOLAS, Load Line, IACS, and Class rules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading naval architecture projects and delivering from concept to detail.
• Strong understanding of stability, intact and damage stability calculations.
• Familiarity with IMO, SOLAS, Load Line, IACS and Class Rule requirements.

Zener Maritime Solutions is looking for an experienced and technically strong Lead Naval Architect to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Naval Architecture projects independently and manage project deliverables.


• Prepare/review Stability Booklets (Intact & Damage), Loading Manuals, Loadicator and Lightship Weight Reports.


• Perform Sounding Table Recalibration and related tank capacity calculations.


• Handle Grain Stability, Damage Stability (Deterministic & Probabilistic) and modification/conversion projects.


• Review vessel models and perform calculations using NAPA, Maxsurf, GHS, AutoHydro, Model Maker, Loadicator or equivalent software.


• Coordinate with clients, shipyards and Classification Societies and resolve technical comments/queries.


• Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, Load Line, IACS and applicable Class Rules.


• Lead and guide junior naval architects and ensure quality and timely project delivery
