Tasknera in India is seeking a hands-on Lead Java Engineer to drive backend development and mentor an engineering team. You will own end-to-end modules, design scalable services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot, and guide junior engineers through code reviews and architectural decisions.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong JVM and Kafka knowledge, and modern software practices. This hybrid position demands 3 days in-office across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, or Chennai.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, streams, lambdas and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with JVM internals, memory management and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deliver backend components using Java and distributed systems.
