Job summary

Promaynov Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd is seeking a Lead Engineer - IT, Security & Internal AI in Delhi. You will own the internal tech landscape, from IT infrastructure to cloud budgeting, and drive AI-powered productivity while maintaining robust security and data privacy.

You will architect secure, scalable infrastructure, manage hardware and network fleets, and enable rapid engineering with zero-trust principles. This role blends hands-on hardware with strategic FinOps and security leadership.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience across internal IT infra, FinOps, and information security.
• Experience with hardware, networks, and enterprise security controls.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and enterprise AI adoption is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of physical machines, network devices, and office IT infrastructure.
• Architect secure, zero-trust IT workflows integrated into developer tools.
• Lead cloud budgeting, cost optimization, and license management (AWS/GCP, SaaS).
• Define and implement secure, automated provisioning and incident response.
• Evaluate and deploy AI tools to boost internal productivity while reducing costs.

Lead Engineer - IT, Security & Internal AI (Builder Role)

Location: Delhi

The Role Overview You will own organisations's internal tech landscape across IT Infrastructure, Cloud Budgeting (FinOps), AI-driven productivity, Information Security, and Data Privacy.

Your mandate is simple: Be a creative enabler. Build "secure paved roads" that allow our engineering teams to run fast, and be the first line of defense when their tools break.

What You Will Build & Own

• Modern IT Infrastructure & Endpoint Engineering

Own the Fleet: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all physical machines, network devices, and office IT infrastructure.

Hands-on Troubleshooting (Break/Fix): In our startup culture, no job is too small.

When a machine breaks, a network drops, or an engineer is blocked by hardware, you roll up your sleeves and fix it.

Zero-Touch Provisioning: Engineer modern Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions so new teammates auto-configure securely on day one.

• Cloud Budgeting & Deep FinOps

Engineering Cost-Efficiency: You will act as the financial gatekeeper for our tech stack.

Go beyond basic budget tracking to implement aggressive FinOps practices.

Right-Sizing: Spot anomalies, right-size workloads, and creatively optimize our AWS/GCP cloud footprint and SaaS licenses to ensure we operate lean.

• AI-Driven Productivity & Operations

Reinvent Internal IT: Actively identify and deploy GenAI tools, Copilots, and LLMs to radically boost internal productivity. If an AI tool can automate an operation or cut costs, you have the mandate to build and deploy it.

• Security as an Enabler (Zero-Friction, Zero-Trust)

Secure Paved Roads: Design a modern, Zero-Trust security architecture embedded directly into the developer workflow. Security should be invisible to the engineer but impenetrable to the threat.

National-Grade Privacy: Act as the technical guardian of data privacy. Translate the DPDP Act and SOC2/ISO 27001 requirements into automated code and infrastructure guardrails.

Threat Defense: Own IAM, endpoint security across all physical devices, and automated incident response pipelines.

• Ecosystem Orchestration

Manage our vendor ecosystem (hardware suppliers, software licenses, SaaS platforms) as an engineer integrating external tools into our internal operating system.

Demand engineering excellence from external partners, ensuring strict SLA adherence.

You are a Builder: You have 6-8 years of deep, hands-on experience spanning Internal IT infrastructure, FinOps/Budget Management, and Information Security.
