Job summary

Wipro is seeking a senior ETL developer to design, test, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter workflows for client data warehouses. You will implement mappings, sessions, and mapplets, and optimize ETL jobs across Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Informatica PowerCenter development.
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or similar databases.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, SCD Type 1 & Type 2.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Exposure to scheduling tools such as AutoSys/Control-M is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Develop mappings, sessions, workflows, mapplets, and reusable transformations.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
• Work closely with business, BA, QA, and support teams.
• Handle production support and incident resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and follow ETL best practices.
• Support data warehouse and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD and monitoring of ETL processes to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with data pipelines.
• Collaborate with BA/QA and business teams to ensure data quality.
