Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, implement, and optimize Informatica PowerCenter based data integration solutions across multiple source systems. You will work with SQL/PLSQL, relational databases, and DW concepts to ensure data quality and reliable data loading.

Role requires debugging, performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust ETL processes. Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore are key locations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
• Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake).
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
• Informatica PowerCenter mapping performance tuning.
• Experience with Autosys scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Build and optimize data integration workflows and mappings.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL performance issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality and adherence to development standards.
• Support production deployments and ongoing maintenance.

Desired Experience Range: 5-12 Years

Location of Requirement: Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore

Must-Have:

• Good hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (Designer, Workflow Manager, Repository Manager, Workflow Monitor)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• Experience in performance tuning of Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices
• Exposure to cloud data integration platforms
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
