Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders, product owners and technology teams to transform business needs into scalable solutions.

Role requires 8–15 years of experience with strong SQL, data analysis, UAT, and experience in Insurance and Wealth Management domains. The candidate will mentor junior analysts and facilitate Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience eliciting requirements and creating user stories.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and backlog management.
• Strong data analysis and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with insurance and wealth management domains.
• Experience coordinating UAT and test activities.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements and create user stories for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers and QA.
• Perform process improvement and governance activities.
• Support UAT and ensure traceability of requirements.
• Mentor junior analysts and manage stakeholder relationships.

• Good understanding of Insurance, Wealth Management, Financial Services, and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources and identify trends, business impacts, and process improvement opportunities.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, validation of business requirements, testing coordination, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, audit controls, and risk management practices within financial services organizations.
• Experience managing requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience mentoring junior Business Analysts and providing functional leadership.

• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, resilience, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and delivery frameworks.
