Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IAM production support activities, resolving authentication, authorization, and access issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for Okta and Okta Access Gateway (OAG) environments.
• Configure and maintain Okta apps, policies, and user lifecycle processes.
• Manage Okta Access Gateway configurations, routing, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor IAM services and proactively identify availability and security risks.
• Own incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in change management activities from impact assessment to post-change monitoring.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Lead IAM Support professional with 7-11 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), enterprise application support, and access management operations. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in Okta, Okta Access Gateway (OAG), and IAM solutions, along with strong experience managing incidents, changes, and production support activities.

In this role, you will lead the support and operational management of IAM platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and highly available authentication and authorization services. You will work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to troubleshoot complex access issues, implement changes, and continuously improve IAM operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IAM production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of authentication, authorization, and access-related issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for Okta and Okta Access Gateway (OAG) environments.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Okta applications, integrations, authentication policies, access policies, and user lifecycle processes.
• Manage and troubleshoot Okta Access Gateway configurations, including application integrations, routing, authentication flows, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor IAM services and proactively identify potential issues affecting availability, security, and user access.
• Own and resolve complex incidents, including root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in change management activities, including impact assessment, implementation, validation, and post-change monitoring.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and network teams to resolve cross-functional IAM issues.
• Support user provisioning, de-provisioning, access requests, authentication issues, and application access troubleshooting.
• Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend automation, process improvements, and operational enhancements.
• Mentor junior IAM support engineers and provide technical guidance on complex production issues.
• Ensure IAM support processes align with organizational security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 7-11 years of experience in IAM, identity management, or enterprise access management support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration and support.
• Excellent expertise in Okta Access Gateway (OAG).
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, authentication, authorization, SSO, and access control.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise authentication and application access issues.
• Strong knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and drive them through resolution.
• Experience working in production environments with strict availability and security requirements.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in technical/application support within large enterprise environments.
