Developer III - Software Engineering (POD Specialist) Position Summary UST is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Developer III - Software Engineering (POD Specialist) to be a key contributor within an engineering pod, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on technical expertise, embrace AI-first engineering practices, and collaborate effectively with POD Leads, Architects, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, productivity, and successful business outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack development capabilities. Hands-on experience building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. Strong proficiency in frontend technologies, backend services, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. Experience using AI-assisted development tools, coding assistants, and modern software engineering frameworks. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a POD-based delivery model. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies, including Generative AI. Good understanding of Agile methodologies, software development best practices, and CI/CD principles. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
