Job summary

HyperVerge is seeking a Lead HRBP to connect people strategy with business outcomes as the company scales. You will partner with senior leaders to strengthen talent, improve manager effectiveness, and build scalable people practices from the ground up.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role reporting to the Head of People, with placement in either GTM or G&A based on business priorities and your strengths.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of HR experience.
• At least 4 years in a strategic HRBP or People Partner role.
• Experience partnering with function heads, senior leaders, or CXOs.
• Track record of building scalable people frameworks or processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, and people decisions aligned with business goals.
• Drive talent reviews, performance calibration, succession planning, and retention of high performers.
• Coach managers on performance, team effectiveness, employee relations, and difficult people decisions.
• Design and implement scalable frameworks for performance management, career leveling, and talent development.
• Use people analytics to identify risks and guide data-backed decisions.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Business Partnering: Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, organisational design, and people decisions aligned with business goals.
• Talent & Performance: Drive talent reviews, performance calibration, succession planning, and proactive retention of high performers.
• Manager Effectiveness: Coach managers on performance, team effectiveness, employee relations, and difficult people decisions.
• Build People Systems: Design and implement scalable frameworks for performance management, career leveling, and talent development.
• Organisational Health: Use people analytics to identify risks, improve organisational effectiveness, and guide data-backed decisions.

What We're Looking For

• 6–10 years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in a strategic HRBP or People Partner role.
• Experience partnering directly with function heads, senior leaders, or CXOs.
• Strong expertise in performance management, talent calibration, organisational design, and workforce planning.
• A track record of building people frameworks or processes that create measurable, lasting impact.
• Strong business acumen, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to challenge leaders constructively.
• Experience thriving in lean, high-growth environments with the autonomy to build and execute independently.
