Job summary

Sattva is seeking a Senior Government Advisory Lead in Mumbai to drive delivery of government advisory engagements, partnering with government leadership to co-design high-impact initiatives and support implementation.

The role involves managing relationships with government stakeholders, donor partners, and ecosystem players, aligning priorities and ensuring milestones and quality across engagements. Based in Mumbai, relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of professional experience.
• Strong consulting experience, preferably in public sector or impact-focused engagements.
• Proven experience influencing key government stakeholders and anchoring implementation of flagship initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior government stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of government advisory engagements, partnering with government leadership to co-design high-impact initiatives and support implementation.
• Manage relationships with government stakeholders, donor partners, and ecosystem stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle, aligning strategic priorities and donor focus areas.
• Drive collaboration across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of engagement outcomes.
• Ensure project milestones, timelines, and quality standards are consistently achieved while providing guidance and fostering team motivation.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior state government stakeholders.
• Understand evolving government priorities and identify opportunities to create additional value through ongoing engagements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to government counterparts by fostering strong working relationships.
• Support the expansion and continuity of existing government partnerships through proactive stakeholder engagement.
• Support emerging government advisory opportunities as required.
• Contribute insights and learnings from engagements to strengthen future work.
• Collaborate with internal teams on strategic priorities related to government advisory.
