Job Overview

The Senior Consultant – Retail Banking Business Analyst (Digital/Mobile) will act as a core banking domain functional consultant for global retail banks, focusing on digital, online, and mobile banking initiatives. The role involves end‑to‑end business analysis: capturing As‑Is and To‑Be processes, drafting BRD/FRD, managing user stories and defects, and ensuring successful delivery of digital transformation projects across channels like customer onboarding, internet banking, and mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant in retail banking for global banks, primarily on digital/mobile/online banking initiatives.
• Capture As‑Is processes, identify gaps, and define To‑Be solutions; prepare BRD, FRD, functional specs, and functional test cases.
• Drive end‑to‑end project delivery: planning, requirements elicitation, confirming elicitation results, solution evaluation, and strategy analysis.
• Manage backlog, user stories, use cases, and support full testing lifecycle and defect management.
• Coordinate with multiple vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure infrastructure, development, and solution delivery stay within scope.
• Support implementation by creating execution plans, handling scope creep, and resolving functional/technical issues with stakeholders.
• Work closely with global business and IT teams, ensuring alignment of solutions to retail banking business goals and regulatory expectations.

Must‑Have Skills & Profile

• Strong Retail Banking domain experience with Global Banking exposure (mandatory).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Consultant in core and digital retail banking.
• Experience with customer onboarding, online banking, mobile banking journeys.
• Digital transformation projects in retail banking.
• BRD/FRD, functional specifications, and test case design.
• Backlog management, user stories, use cases, and defect management.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end project delivery in banking (requirements → testing → go‑live).
• Strong stakeholder management across vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
