Job summary

Tricog Health is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer in Bengaluru to shape technical direction for mission-critical healthcare systems. The role blends hands-on coding with leadership, guiding engineers through design reviews, architecture decisions, and delivery of complex features.

You will mentor engineers, drive standards, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Clinical teams to ensure patient-impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of professional software engineering experience.

We are scaling our platform and are looking for technical leaders who can guide teams while remaining hands-on.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who combines strong technical depth with leadership. You will be responsible for guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not a people-manager-only position.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Own and drive technical design decisions across frontend and backend systems


• Review and approve architecture and design proposals


• Ensure systems are scalable, maintainable, and secure


• Set and uphold engineering standards and best practices


• Evaluate, guide, and set guardrails for the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity and code quality.

Delivery & Execution

• Lead the delivery of complex, cross-cutting features and initiatives


• Break down ambiguous product requirements into executable technical plans


• Identify technical risks early and proactively mitigate them


• Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform health


• Mentor Senior and Associate engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and guidance


• Raise the overall engineering capability of the team


• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement


• Partner closely with Product, QA, and Clinical stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
