Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Frontend Developer to join our forward-thinking team. In this role, you will take ownership of the development and optimization of user-facing web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including design, backend, AI/ML, and product management. You will mentor a team of developers and drive the architecture of scalable, high-performance frontend solutions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in frontend development with hands-on experience in modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and a strong understanding of integrating AI/ML models into web applications. A passion for leading teams, continuous improvement, and a keen understanding of EdTech will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, ensuring the quality and consistency of the codebase. Provide technical guidance and foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Develop & Optimize User Interfaces: Take a lead role in developing and maintaining user-friendly, high-performance, and responsive web interfaces.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to architect and implement new features, ensuring smooth, integrated experiences for users.
Leverage AI/ML: Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into the frontend, ensuring seamless interaction between the models and the user interface.
Optimize Performance: Spearhead performance optimization efforts, including code splitting, lazy loading, and resource management to ensure high-performing applications.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Ensure best practices in frontend development are followed. Champion clean, maintainable, and scalable code across the team.
Troubleshoot & Debug: Lead debugging and troubleshooting efforts to address complex technical issues efficiently.
Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of frontend development trends and techniques, including new AI/ML tools and platforms, ensuring that the team remains cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 7-10 years of experience in frontend development, with at least 4 years in a lead role or as a senior developer.
AI/ML Integration: Proven experience integrating AI/ML-driven applications and collaborating with data scientists on model deployment to the frontend.
UI/UX Expertise: Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, and the ability to lead teams in creating aesthetically pleasing, user-centric interfaces.
EdTech Experience: Familiarity with the EdTech sector or experience in building educational platforms is highly preferred.
Testing & Debugging: Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
Performance Optimization: Expertise in optimizing front-end code for speed, scalability, and responsiveness, including advanced techniques like lazy loading and code splitting.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly address and resolve complex technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and integrating them into web applications.
Mobile-First Development: Experience in mobile-first and responsive design strategies.
Agile Methodology: Proven track record of working in an Agile development environment, delivering features iteratively and continuously improving processes.
