Job description

Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function for ABCDL by driving budgeting, forecasting, financial reviews, and strategic financial insights. Partner closely with business leaders to monitor performance, evaluate business outcomes, and support decision-making through data-driven analysis. The role will be responsible for management reporting, profitability analysis, business planning, and strengthening financial governance across the organization.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises across functions and business units.
• Monitor plan vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Support long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.

2. Management Reporting & Financial Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for leadership reviews.
• Analyse revenue, cost, profitability, and business drivers.
• Present actionable insights to improve financial and operational performance.

3. Business Partnering

• Collaborate with business heads to evaluate performance and support strategic decisions.
• Provide financial inputs for new initiatives, investments, and product launches.
• Act as a finance advisor to stakeholders on key business matters.

4. Financial Modelling & Decision Support

• Develop business cases, scenario analysis, and financial models.
• Assess impact of business opportunities, investments, and strategic projects.
• Support leadership with data-backed recommendations.

5. Process Excellence & Automation

• Improve FP&A processes, MIS frameworks, and reporting efficiency.
• Drive automation and standardization of financial reporting.
• Enhance data accuracy, controls, and governance mechanisms.

6. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, board reviews, and internal governance processes.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Preferred candidate profile

Maximum Age: 38 Years

• CA / CFA / MBA Finance preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or financial strategy roles.
• Prior experience in BFSI, Fintech, Digital Platforms, or Financial Services preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization/reporting tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
