Job summary

Tesco Bengaluru is looking for a Chartered Accountant to oversee financial HFM processes. The responsibilities include reconciling GL, resolving HFM-related queries, and supporting colleagues. You will also lead process improvements and manage month-end journals.

Eligible candidates should have a strong knowledge of accounting standards and audit experience. The position offers 30 days of leave, health insurance, a performance bonus, and a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in work arrangements.

About the role

Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence, represent Talent Acquisition in all forums and seminars pertaining to process, compliance and audit. Perform other miscellaneous duties as required by management. Drive CI culture, implementing CI projects and innovation within the team.

• Prepare / Reconcile GL to HFM system
• Work on HFM Validation during period end and prepare knowledge documents for future reference
• Resolve all financial HFM related queries, including data roll‑up, inter‑company matching/eliminations, account or entity hierarchy and other HFM dimensions
• Support colleagues on HFM related ad‑hoc queries
• Monitor HFM data load processes through FDMEE, GL‑to‑HFM mapping concepts, and support business queries on mappings
• Prepare, post and reconcile P13 and P14 adjustments and support the business on these adjustments
• Prepare and review all month‑end journals for the HFM area
• Handle any additional processes that will be transitioned to TBS in the future
• Lead resolution of legacy issues, process improvement, process changes, audit queries, and peer reviews

You will need

• Chartered Accountant (1‑3 PQE preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, UK FRS)
• Experience in audit procedures, documentation and compliances
• Preferred HFM experience
