Prodigy Technovations Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a Lead Field Application Engineer (FAE) to serve as the technical lead and primary interface with customers, guiding requirements, demonstrations, and validation.

You will collaborate with R&D teams and international distributors, mentor junior FAEs, and drive technical closure of opportunities through deep knowledge of high-speed protocols and test equipment.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or related.
• 8–10 years of experience in FAE, post-silicon validation, or Test & Measurement.
• Hands-on with protocol analyzers, exercisers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, UFS, MIPI, I3C.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer applications and recommend protocol analyzers and validation solutions.
• Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Troubleshoot complex protocol, signal integrity, and hardware issues.
• Support customers during evaluation, deployment, silicon bring-up, and validation.
• Collaborate with international distributors and partners to close opportunities.
• Work with Hardware, Firmware, and Software R&D to resolve issues and define requirements.
• Mentor junior FAEs and lead critical customer escalations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Job Summary

The Lead Field Application Engineer (FAE) will act as the technical lead and primary interface between Prodigy Technovations and its customers. The role involves understanding customer requirements, leading technical demonstrations and product evaluations, resolving complex technical issues, and providing pre-sales and post-sales support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Test & Measurement equipment, protocol validation, signal integrity, and customer-facing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer applications and recommend suitable protocol analyzers, exercisers, and validation solutions.
• Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept evaluations.
• Troubleshoot complex protocol, signal integrity, and hardware-related issues.
• Support customers during product evaluation, deployment, silicon bring-up, and validation.
• Collaborate with international distributors and business partners to drive technical closure of opportunities.
• Work closely with Hardware, Firmware, and Software R&D teams to resolve customer issues and communicate product requirements.
• Mentor junior FAEs and lead critical customer escalations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or a related discipline.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in FAE or Post Silicon semiconductor validation, or the Test & Measurement industry.
• Hands‑on experience with protocol analyzers, protocol exercisers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or telecom test equipment.
• Strong understanding of high-speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, UFS, MIPI, I3C, or related embedded interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity (SI), probing techniques, and hardware debugging.
• Experience in customer-specific product evaluations, technical troubleshooting, and validation.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, manage customer escalations, and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
