Job summary

Macnica Cytech India is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to drive advanced technical support and develop reference designs, evaluation platforms, and embedded solutions across hardware and firmware. You will troubleshoot at the system level and collaborate with suppliers for product development.

You will lead projects, mentor engineers, and work with sales, product, and marketing to align technical solutions with business goals, from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded hardware and software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in embedded system design, MCU/MPU/SoC and firmware development.
• Experience in developing reference designs, PoCs and customer-specific solutions.
• Good knowledge of Embedded C/C++, RTOS/Linux and communication interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and system-level problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; customer-facing experience is essential.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Drive advanced technical support to customers designs.
• Design and develop reference designs, evaluation platforms and embedded solutions.
• Provide in-depth technical support for hardware, firmware and system-level troubleshooting.
• Work closely with semiconductor suppliers for technical support, product promotion and solution development.
• Offer in depth technical support like schematics design & review, layout review, software application development and troubleshooting.
• Support customers from concept, prototype and validation through production.
• Conduct technical seminars, workshops and product training for customers and internal teams.
• Identify new applications and create opportunities for semiconductor products.
• Support to field FAEs with advanced technical support.
• Project Management: Planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering projects, including software or hardware development while ensuring adherence to organizational standards and budgets
• Team Leadership : Managing and mentoring a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering professional development
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with sales, product development, marketing, and other departments to align technical solutions with business goals
