Job summary

Egis is seeking a Principal Engineer in its Infrastructure Team to drive complex projects in Wet Utilities. You will mentor engineers, guide design execution, and develop sustainable transportation infrastructure solutions across disciplines.

With a focus on drainage, water, and regulatory compliance, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality outcomes within schedule and budget. A strong background in Civil 3D BIM environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities.
• Experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.
• Working knowledge of HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER is a plus.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D for BIM environment.
• Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to lead large-scale projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Conduct technical and quality reviews of projects, addressing potential issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and assess surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management and adherence to local regulations.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate the impacts of drainage systems.

About The Role

As a Principal Engineer within our Infrastructure Team, you will play a key role in delivering complex Infrastructure projects and maintaining high standards of quality. You will collaborate with senior team members, provide technical input, and help ensure the smooth execution of multiple Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

What do we need from you

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.

• Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
