Job summary

Egis is seeking a Wet Utilities Engineer in India to support infrastructure projects. You will work on potable water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting systems, reviewing designs and documentation across multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency with Civil 3D and related software is required, with emphasis on quality, compliance, and efficient project delivery. Collaboration with engineers and designers will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineering license or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Wet Utilities.
• Experience in design of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.
• Proficient with software: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Familiar with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER; BIM with Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of clash resolution using Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering Infrastructure projects, supporting project leaders in delivering successful outcomes.
• Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
• Prepare reports calculations and design documentation
• Conduct technical and quality reviews of projects, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop and assess surface water drainage systems to ensure efficient stormwater management and adherence to local regulations.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate the impacts of drainage systems

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3years of relevant experience in Wet Utilities.
• Experience in designu of Wet Utilities including Potable Water, Sewer, Storm, Irrigation, District cooling, and Firefighting.
• Working knowledge of relevant software packages like HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, SWMM.
• Experience and familiarity with the following programs are a plus: ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, HAMMER.
• Prepare design using Civil 3D software for BIM environment.
• Knowledge of clash resolution of utilities modeling software like Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and lead large-scale projects.
