• GE Substation Automation Solutions: Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in this area.
• Travel: Ability to travel globally.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical project activities and ensure successful project execution.
• Participate in project risk reviews, manage project budgets, and provide progress updates.
• Analyse customer specifications and validate technical solutions.
• Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning, and ensure safety standards.
• Address technical deviations, manage fault reports, and support site engineers remotely or on-site.
• Lead Factory and Site Acceptance Tests and coordinate with commissioning teams.
• Provide project-specific training to customers and support tendering teams.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Projects: Drive technical project activities, lead customer kick-off meetings, and ensure successful project execution from design to commissioning.

• Customer and Project Management: Participate in project risk reviews, manage project budgets in term of man-days allocated to the engineering tasks, and provide regular progress updates.

• Design and Documentation: Analyse customer specifications, write project technical documentation, and validate technical solutions with customers.

• Technical Oversight: Specify software and IEDs, manage technical execution planning, and ensure adherence to GE Vernova safety standards.

• Issue Resolution: Address technical deviations, manage fault reports, and support site engineers remotely or on-site.

• Testing and Commissioning: Lead Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, and coordinate with commissioning teams for major site milestones.

• Training and Support: Provide project-specific training to customers, support tendering and commercial teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through professional project execution.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: B.E or Btech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Experience: Over five years of protection and electrical design engineering-related experience.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of protection functions, electrical scheme, and cubicle design.

• Design Expertise: Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays and network studies.

• GE Substation Automation Solutions: Preferred candidates will have proven knowledge in this area.

• Travel: Ability to travel globally.
