Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Lead Engineer in Bengaluru with 5+ years of hands-on Python fullstack experience. You will design and deploy scalable Python-based applications and robust microservices, build RESTful APIs, and lead a team to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

You will mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and drive CI/CD automation across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring performance and security.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python fullstack development experience.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Strong RESTful API development and integration skills.
• Proficiency with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD lifecycle experience (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Automated testing using PyTest.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and Agile/Scrum is a plus.

Job Requirements

Experience Range

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable Python-based applications and services
• Architect and implement robust microservices solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Develop, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between services and client applications
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical growth and promoting best coding practices
• Review code, enforce development standards, and drive continuous improvement across the development team
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment processes, ensuring reliability and speed
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring application performance, scalability, and security

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming
• Expertise with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong skills in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD
