Brillio in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced backend engineer to design and build scalable Python services within a microservices architecture. You will lead end-to-end development of fullstack applications, integrate React frontends, and own CI/CD pipelines.

The role focuses on Django/Flask/FastAPI, Golang as a secondary language, and strong database optimization with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. Mentoring juniors and maintaining secure APIs are key expectations.

Job requirements

Experience Range: With at least 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, including substantial expertise in Python backend and microservices architecture

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices using Python, ensuring high performance and reliability
• 2. Lead end-to-end development of fullstack applications, integrating React-based frontends with robust Python backends
• 3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and delivery of applications
• 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and deliverables
• 5. Optimize database performance and data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis to ensure efficient data handling
• 6. Manage containerization and orchestration of services using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployment and scalability
• 7. Develop, document, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable secure and efficient communication between services
• 8. Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in software engineering

Required Skills

• 1. Proficiency in Python for backend development
• 2. Experience with microservices architecture and design

• 3. Certification in cloud technologies or DevOps practices (such as AWS Certified Developer, Kubernetes Administrator, or equivalent)
