Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing experience, preferably in banking/financial services.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with security testing tools such as Burp Suite (manual and automated).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Tester to lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise banking and payment solutions. The role is responsible for defining QA strategy, driving AI-assisted test automation, API, performance, and security testing, while ensuring high-quality, reliable software delivery through collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a highly skilled Lead Software Tester with extensive banking domain, preferably in Payments, to join the team.
• Ensuring quality and reliability of software products through comprehensive testing strategies.
• Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, conducting API testing, performance, security testing with AI assistance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve QA across product engineering phases.
• Taking leadership in testing initiatives, ensuring high-quality banking application delivery.
• Mentoring junior testers, developing testing strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Defining and enforcing quality standards and best practices for automated testing, focusing on leveraging AI capabilities.
• Defining and implementing a QA strategy focused on reducing customer-reported bugs and evaluating existing QA processes with proposals for short- and long-term improvements.
• Setting a vision for integrating automation into the QA process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of payment systems, transaction processing, and risk management.
