Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned data & process engineer to collect and analyze process data from refinery and petrochemical units. You will interpret P&IDs, PFDs, and datasheets, support corrosion rate estimation, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure data clarity and quality.

The candidate should have a chemical engineering degree and at least seven years in continuous manufacturing, with strong Excel and data-discipline skills. This role is on site in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years in a manufacturing facility (continuous process) with refinery/petrochemicals/chemicals background preferred.
• Ability to read engineering docs, datasheets and process diagrams.
• Strong Excel proficiency and data handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering documents as per workflow requirements.

• Analyze key process inputs including pressure, temperature, flow, composition, AIT, flash point, HS and ammonia concentration, and other safety-critical parameters.

• Understand technical summaries, data sheets, and engineering documentation as per workflow requirements.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of work experience in any manufacturing facility (Continuous process) - Refinery/ Petrochemicals/ Fertilizers/ Chemicals background is preferred.
