Job summary

Tata Projects Limited is seeking an experienced BE/ME Chemical engineer to lead a team of process engineers on complex projects. You will finalize execution strategies at project initiation and drive delivery within budget and schedule while liaising with clients, PMC, and subcontractors.

The role requires hands-on involvement in Quality Management and Process Safety studies (HAZOP, QRA, SIL). You will review vendor documents and bids, ensuring compliance with international and local standards.

Qualifications

• BE/ME in Chemical Engineering or allied field.
• 10+ years of work experience in chemical/process engineering.
• Experience leading teams on projects and interfacing with clients/consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and direct the team of Process engineers on projects.
• Finalize execution strategy at project start.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Analyze project requirements and communicate critical issues to engineering management.
• Liaise with customers, PMC, subcontractors and other discipline leads.
• Implement Quality Management Systems on projects.
• Participate in Process Safety studies (HAZOP, QRA, SIL, surge analysis).
• Ensure adherence to specifications, codes and client requirements.
• Review vendor documents and technical bids.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1)Lead, motivate and direct the team of Process engineers assigned on a given project.

2)Finalize the execution strategy in the beginning of assigned projects.

3)Ensure the execution of assigned projects on time and within the budget.

4)Analyse the project requirements w.r.t. Process and identify the critical issues & timely communicate with Project Engineering manager / HOD.

5)Liaison with customers, PMC, sub-Contractors, Consultants, Other discipline Leads for critical issues.

6)Responsible for implementation of Quality Management Systems to assigned project

7) Participate in Process Safety studies like HAZOP,QRA, SIL, Surge analysis etc and ensure the incorporation of action points in relevant Process Engineering deliverables.

8) Ensure adherence to project specifications, international codes, standards, local codes and standards and client requirements.

9)Review vendor documents and technical bids
