Ness Digital Engineering is seeking a Java Developer/Lead for Pune, offering hybrid work. The role focuses on building robust backend services, integrating microservices, and leveraging modern JS front-ends when needed.

The candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of software development experience with strong Java skills, cloud familiarity, and a solid grasp of design patterns

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java or similar backend language (Python, Go, C++).
• Experience with React/Vue.js/Modern JavaScript Frameworks.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and modern backend design patterns.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and data storage.
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent diagnostic ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience operating within Agile development environments.

Immediate opportunity for Java Developer/Lead - Pune Location, Hybrid mode

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java or similar backend language (Python, Go, C++)
• Strong Experience into React/ Vue.js/ Modern JavaScript Frameworks/ Legacy Front-End Application Support
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and modern backend design patterns
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design, and system architecture principles
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and data storage
• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose technical issues independently
