Job summary

Ness Digital Engineering in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Java Full-Stack Developer/Lead to join immediately. The role requires hands-on engineering across front-end and back-end, with emphasis on Java and modern JavaScript frameworks, microservices, and cloud-native delivery.

You will work in an Agile environment, partnering with product and QA to build scalable, robust software using Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, and a variety of databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java or similar backend language (Python, Go, C++).
• Experience with React/Vue.js/Modern JavaScript Frameworks and legacy front-end application support.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and modern backend design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design, and system architecture principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and data storage.
• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose technical issues independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience operating within Agile development environments
