Job summary

Cencora is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale identity platforms, ensuring secure global authentication. You will formulate automated pipelines and API integrations to standardize access across digital initiatives.

The role requires 6+ years in platform engineering, IAM, software development, or related fields, with preferred cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, identity and access management, software development, systems administration, or a related field.
• Certification in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic design and continuous evolution of enterprise-scale identity platforms to ensure secure user authentication globally.
• Develops automated deployment pipelines and API integrations to standardize secure access across digital initiatives.
• Analyzes telemetry and security logs to engineer proactive defenses and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Advises senior tech leadership on capabilities for long-term cloud migrations and compliance mandates.
• Resolves critical platform outages and disruptions by engineering high-level remediations and hardening protocols.
• Evaluates emerging identity technologies and zero-trust frameworks for strategic investments.

• Formulates advanced automated deployment pipelines and complex API integrations to standardize secure access across all major digital transformation initiatives.
• Analyzes predictive platform telemetry and advanced security logs to engineer proactive defense mechanisms that neutralize systemic architectural vulnerabilities.
• Advices senior technology leadership on the structural capabilities required to support long-term corporate cloud migrations and compliance mandates.
• Resolves critical, tier-four platform outages and high-stakes identity disruptions by engineering high-level structural remediations and system hardening protocols.
• Evaluates emerging identity technologies and zero-trust frameworks to authorize strategic technical investments for the platform engineering organization.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. Master's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred. 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, identity and access management, software development, systems administration, or a related field required. Certification in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or equivalent preferred.
