Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking a seasoned DevOps/Platform engineer to design, build and operate scalable on-premises and cloud infrastructure from Bengaluru. You will own CI/CD, container platforms and observability, enabling secure, fast releases while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires strong skills in Linux, microservices, Kibana/ELK, and modern DevOps toolchains. You will lead architectural decisions, uphold governance, and drive automation and performance

Qualifications

• Networking and Linux fundamentals required.

• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks for investment projects as well for new application build-out.
• Identify / address key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

Governance

• Awareness and understanding of the Group Technology Policy, Standards and Enterprise Risk management framework
• Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge peers effectively; and Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
• Work with program management office and 2nd line of defence teams to ensure portfolio governance are well managed.
