Hitachi Energy India Limited is seeking a Lead Protection Control engineer to steer a team of design engineers for Protection Control Panel Engineering in High Voltage transmission substations in Bengaluru. The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Protection Control Panel Engineering and proven leadership of a design team.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, effective communication, and deep knowledge of power system protection, control, and substation automation.

Responsabilidades

• Assess contract specifications, requirements, deviations, risks and opportunities.
• Develop base design concepts and cost-effective solutions per customer contracts.
• Supervise documentation quality and engineering processes for timely, complete drawings and documents.
• Lead technical resolutions with customers by translating requirements into Hitachi solutions.
• Manage technical changes and risk/claims related to the technical scope.
• Support bid proposals to meet functional requirements while remaining market-competitive.
• Lead CRP drawing standardization and solution optimization for customer sets.

About this role:

Hitachi Energy India Limited is looking for Lead Protection Control engineer in Grid Automation Business to lead a team of design Engineers for Protection Control Panel Engineering in High Voltage, Transmission Substations.

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Protection Control Panel Engineering.

Shall have experience in leading a team of design engineers

Job Description:

a. Contract Specification assessment (requirements, deviations, risks, opportunities)

b. Base design with all necessary concepts (cost effective solutions based on customer contract specification and technical offer)

c. Supervise the engineering process and documentation quality of the team of design engineers to ensure submission of drawings/documents technically complete in all respects, compared to

the project specification.

d. Lead technical resolution of solutions with customers and translating customer requirements into solutions of Hitachi

e. Active management of technical changes, risks claims (only technical part)

f. Supporting bid proposal to find solutions which meet the functional requirements of the customer and be competitive in the market

g. Leading CRP drawing standardization and solution optimization activities for set of customers.
