Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store in Chennai, Tamil Nadu is seeking a Lead Engineer - BIW for automotive R&D. Develop cab, body and product systems from concept through design, validation and release, ensuring robust DFMEA and packaging compliance.

You will coordinate CAE, testing, manufacturing and supplier inputs, driving issue resolution and design optimisation. 10–15 years in BIW with DFMEA, sheet metal, welding, homologation and crash fatigue analysis is expected.

Role overview

Candidate profile

Engineering professional with 10–15 years of relevant experience in BIW. Strong practical evidence in DFMEA, BIW, sheet metal, welding, homologation, crash analysis, fatigue. Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility or an adjacent product-engineering environment is preferred.
