Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking a Lead Engineer - Frontend to technically lead the Frontend PWA architecture across channels (Android, iOS, Web) and build theme-able web applications that can be white-boxed for clients.

You will lead a team of front-end developers, contribute as a hands-on frontend engineer, and ensure high performance, security, and scalable UI delivery in Bengaluru. The role requires strong leadership and deep expertise in modern frontend technologies.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in design and implementation of microservices.
• Strong problem-solving and algorithms skills.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and D3.js.
• Good understanding of server-side templating and CSS preprocessors.
• Innovative and collaborative with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Engineer - Frontend, you will be responsible for technically leading the overall Frontend PWA client architecture for all our applications that run across channels (Android, iOS, Web, etc. ) and building completely theme-able web applications that can be white-boxed to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Lead a team of developers (front-end/UI), as well as contribute as a hands-on front-end developer.

• Make swift decisions on the way to build the product.
• Articulate the approach to all the relevant team members.
