Job summary

Bhumi in Tamil Nadu is seeking an Educational Program Lead to drive the execution of Bhumi's education interventions in Shelter homes under the Bhumi Clubs initiative. The role balances volunteer engagement and team leadership to deliver scalable educational outcomes.

The program targets educating 1 lakh children and youth by 2035 through a volunteer-driven movement, creating future leaders and change-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any relevant field or a fellowship
• Minimum 2 years of volunteering experience and community engagement

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality education programming delivery in Shelters through structured interventions and effective implementation.
• Maximise learning outcomes of students in Shelter homes in English, Maths, STEM.
• Improve volunteer retention and develop volunteer leadership to strengthen programme ownership.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the plan, track and follow up on milestones and achieve goals in a timely manner
