Job summary

Zenith System Solutions in Bangalore is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to define and execute a multi-cloud platform strategy. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers and drive CI/CD, GitOps governance, cloud security, and production operations.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud platform engineering.
• 2+ years in a lead/tech lead role.
• B.Tech., M.Tech., or MCA from a reputed university.
• Strong hands-on leadership with cloud, CI/CD, security, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own multi-cloud platform infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Lead GitOps governance frameworks with policy-as-code and audit controls.
• Design and drive CI/CD platform engineering strategies and release automation.
• Own cloud security and compliance posture including CIS benchmarks and SOC2 alignment.
• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, and custom tooling.
• Define platform SLOs, capacity planning, and production operations best practices.
• Drive incident management, blameless post-mortems, and reliability culture.
• Mentor and grow a team of DevOps and platform engineers.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to define and execute a multi-cloud platform strategy, lead a team of DevOps engineers, and drive engineering excellence across CI/CD, GitOps governance, cloud security, and production operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, platform engineering, and production reliability while collaborating closely with engineering leadership and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and own multi-cloud platform infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Lead GitOps governance frameworks ensuring policy-as-code, audit trails, and environment promotion controls.
• Design and drive CI/CD platform engineering strategies including standardized pipelines, quality gates, and release automation.
• Own cloud security and compliance posture - including CIS benchmarks, SOC2 alignment, vulnerability management, and secrets governance.
• Lead infrastructure automation initiatives using Terraform, Helm, and custom tooling.
• Define and enforce platform SLOs, capacity planning, and production operations best practices.
• Drive incident management, blameless post-mortems, and reliability engineering culture.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and platform engineers through technical guidance and performance coaching.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and clients to align platform roadmap with business objectives.
• Evaluate and introduce emerging tools and technologies to improve platform maturity.
