Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Devices Sourcing professional to lead procurement of electronics devices, IT hardware and related software.

The role requires strategic supplier selection, RFPs, negotiations, and cost optimization. You will drive BOM costings, manage contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate vendor due diligence, and develop metrics for supply risk and savings.

Qualifications

• MBA or Bachelors with relevant electronics procurement experience.
• 6–8 years in sourcing/procurement of electronic devices, IT hardware, and software.
• Experience driving RFPs, negotiations, and BOM costing.
• Strong supplier management, contract negotiation, and ERP exposure (Oracle/SAP).

Responsibilities

• Drive large RFPs with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize the total cost of ownership.
• Evaluate BOM, negotiate with BOM suppliers and optimize it further.
• Drive localization for various E-BOM, P-BOM and M-BOM components.
• Develop and continuously improve best-in-class sourcing strategies with focus on risk management and savings.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage vendor due-diligence for new vendors.
• Ensure compliance on regulatory requirements/certifications applicable to products.
• Work with internal and external resources to stay informed on policy changes impacting procurement strategies.
• Manage and communicate risk of long-term supply contracts (e.g., credit exposure, commodities, technology).
• Develop leading metrics to manage supply/demand including pricing, exchange rates, and capacity.
• Benchmark best practices and propose sourcing decisions.
• Maintain technology and cost databases for equipment including forecasts.
• Maintain documentation for suppliers and products (financials, warranties, AMCs, roadmaps).
• Manage template supply agreements to streamline procurement processes.
• Cultivate relationships with supplier organizations and identify strategic opportunities.
