Primary responsibilities of the Role:

Design and lead the implementation of end-to-end document automation solutions using KTA and KTM.
Architect and develop complex document capture, classification, and extraction workflows with advanced customization via C#/.NET scripting.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and cross-functional delivery teams.
Manage and optimize integration between Kofax and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and third-party applications.
Integrate with SQL Server for data validation, PO/vendor matching, and export automation.
Build PDF output routines and automate export to ERP systems, file shares, or email.
Troubleshoot production issues, monitor task queues, and ensure workflow performance and uptime
Oversee incident response and Level 2/3 support, ensuring SLA adherence and issue resolution.
Drive continuous improvement through performance tuning, monitoring, and workflow optimization.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into scalable Kofax workflows and technical specifications.
Maintain system documentation including design blueprints, SOPs, support guides, and change logs.
Partner with the RPA team to identify and implement opportunities where Kofax integrates with Automation Anywhere or other platforms.
Contribute to governance, compliance, and deployment strategies including cloud-based or hybrid environments (Azure/AWS).

Key Technical Skills:

6-8+ years of hands-on experience with Kofax Total Agility (KTA) and Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) in production environments.
Strong expertise in C#/.NET scripting for extending Kofax capabilities.
Solid experience in SQL Server or other RDBMS – including complex queries, stored procedures, and data handling for performance reporting.
Deep hands-on experience with configuring document import via Watch Folder, Mail Import, and KIC.
Strong knowledge of document classification, extraction, and training logic (including invoices, POs, remittances, etc.).
Deep understanding of document processing workflows—capture, validation, classification, and extraction.
Experience in metadata/audit trail integration for reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI).
Familiar with enhanced OCR or ML-driven extraction and classification techniques.
Proven ability to design, troubleshoot, and scale complex enterprise-grade IDP solutions.
Experience leading or mentoring developers and managing small delivery teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to debugging and optimization.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while leading technical delivery.
