Job summary

Adani Realty is seeking a Lead/Assistant Manager Mechanical Design Engineer to oversee MEP design standards, review design basis reports, and ensure coordination with Architecture, Structure, Facade and BIM teams. Strong background in MEP, BIM and design reviews is essential.

The role requires total experience of 6-12 years, 3-8 years in relevant roles, and a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, with optional M.Tech or PMP certifications in BIM, QS, quality, or contract administration.

Qualifications

• Essential BE/B.Tech in Mechanical.
• Desirable M.Tech or PMP; BIM/QS/contract administration certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Define MEP design standards, performance specifications and checklists for building services and engineering systems.
• Review design basis reports, load calculations, schematics, layouts, equipment selections and GFC packages for completeness and compliance.
• Ensure coordination of MEP with Architecture, Structure, Facade and BIM teams to eliminate clashes and access/maintenance issues.
• Validate statutory and authority compliance for fire, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.
• Support value engineering and system optimization with quantified impacts on capex, energy, maintenance and performance.
• Review critical shop drawings, material submittals, deviations and commissioning plans before execution and handover.
• Support consultant and vendor evaluations for technical capability, solution suitability and lifecycle performance.
• Maintain MEP design risk register, lessons learnt and MIS on reviews, non-conformances and closure actions.
